Tattoo Expo set for this weekend – INews Guyana

Guyana is about to make history with its first-ever national Tattoo Expo, hosted by two of the Caribbean’s most influential tattoo artists — Sayad Tattoo Arts, one of Guyana’s leading celebrity tattoo artists, and InkNerd7, an award-winning celebrity tattoo artist all the way from Queens, New York.

This event will take place at the Ramada Princess Hotel, East Bank Demerara, on Saturday, November 15th, and Sunday, November 16th, from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM each day.

What began as a friendship and collaboration between two visionary artists has evolved into a groundbreaking celebration of art, culture, and creativity — aimed at expanding and elevating the tattoo world across Guyana and the Caribbean.

The Georgetown Tattoo Expo will feature live tattooing from some of the region’s most talented and respected artists. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to get tattooed live at the event by any available artist — or simply watch as these professionals transform skin into art before their eyes.

The impressive lineup includes over a dozen artists, such as:

• Golden Phoenix Tattoo Studio featuring three of their top artists

• Safo Barbershop, accompanied by two of his studio artists

• Nicholas Gonzalez

• Tattoo Boss Adam

• Norvel Subbick

• …and many more talented creators.

To amplify the atmosphere, a live DJ will keep the energy flowing throughout the day, blending entertainment and artistry into one unforgettable experience.

For tattoo artists and industry professionals, the expo will also feature booths from some of the world’s top tattoo supply brands, making it the perfect place to restock on professional-grade equipment and materials.

Brands and sponsors include:

• FYT Needles

• Pure Tattoo Supplies

• RAW Pigments – the #1 professional tattoo ink in the world

• Tattoo Lovers Care

• Kwadrons

• Ric’s Rags

• Glamour Connection Guyana

• Inked and Proud

• Timeless Fashions

• Palais de Luxe (Luxury Palace)

• Jai Signs

• Jax’s Restaurant

• Trendy Bites

• Studio 8

The Georgetown Tattoo Expo marks the beginning of a new creative movement in Guyana, showcasing how far the art form has evolved and how deeply it connects with culture, identity, and innovation.

“This expo is more than just an event — it’s a statement,” says InkNerd7. “It’s about uniting artists, inspiring the next generation, and showing the world that Guyana and the Caribbean have a powerful voice in the global tattoo scene.”

Sayad Tattoo Arts adds, “We’re building a community, not just a convention. This is only the beginning — and we’re proud to share it with everyone.”
