$10b one-off injection to NIS to aid pensioners, those without required contributions
President Irfaan Ali today announced an one-off $10b injection into the National Insurance Scheme to help pensioners facing hardship and to assist those who don’t have the required number of contributions.
The details are to be announced in the 2025 budget.
