Police issue warning to those in autopsy crime spree
The Office of the Commissioner of Police this morning warned that all video footage, images and other available evidence are being reviewed and persons implicated in criminal conduct will be prosecuted.
The police statement came after a wave of arson, protests, looting and firing of weapons in the aftermath of the post-mortem finding yesterday that 11-year-old Adriana Younge had died by drowning. The unrest engulfed the East Bank and East Coast of Demerara, the West Coast and West Bank of Demerara and other parts of the country.
Those incriminated were also warned that will be placed on a “no-flight list” and their personal information will be shared with regional and international law enforcement agencies.
