The Guyana Police Force has strengthened its operational capacity, with the acquisition of nine new 2025 Toyota Hilux vehicles.

These vehicles were officially handed over to Deputy Commissioner ‘Operations’,  Errol Watts during a brief ceremony attended by Officer-in-Charge, Tactical Services Unit (TSU), Senior Superintendent Brian Lowenfield, Second-in-Command of TSU, Superintendent Ronald Alli and Inspector Linden Zamette of the Police Transport Department, a release from the police said.

The procurement and handover exercise was facilitated by Queensway Security Services Inc., which sourced the vehicles on behalf of the Guyana Police Force.

These additional assets will enhance the Force’s mobility, response efficiency and operational readiness across all divisions.
