CANU holds man with semi-automatic pistol

On Saturday, CANU officers conducted an operation at the Square of the Revolution, Homestretch Avenue, and intercepted a motor vehicle with two occupants. A subsequent search of the motor vehicle led to the discovery of a Lorcin .380 Semi-Automatic Pistol, with a magazine and ammunition.

Terry Andrew Joseph, 37, and a female passenger were arrested and escorted to CANU Headquarters with the firearm.

Investigations are ongoing.
