President signals centre of excellence for cancer treatment
President Irfaan Ali on Saturday pointed to a plan for the establishment of a centre for excellence for cancer treatment.
According to a statement from the Office of the President, Ali was speaking at the Guyana Cancer Society’s inaugural fundraising dinner at Project Dawn in Liliendaal.
“I’m launching a campaign in four areas very soon…and we’re going to go hard, we are going to go wide. I intend to shake things up a bit”, he stated.
