Britton continues to stamp his authority in the Region

Fresh off representing Guyana at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, the ace paddler took his talents to Trinidad and served and slammed his way to the Silver Bowl title.

On Sunday at the Regional Indoor Sports Arena in Tacarigua, Britton representing Queen’s Park, defeated Barbadian Tyrese Knight in the men’s singles final 11-8, 11-9, 8-11, 11-6.

In the women’s singles, experienced Trinidad national player, Aleena Edwards won the title with an 11-9, 5-11, 11-8, 2-11, 12-10 win over her niece, Imani Edwards-Taylor.
