Murdered Linden teacher sustained 30 stab wounds

A post-mortem examination conducted on the body of Linden teacher Kelly Charlotte found that she was stabbed 30 times to her body, listing her cause of death as multiple stab wounds.

Charlotte was stabbed to death by her boyfriend, Leston Baynes, who was found hanging in an abandoned house two days after the murder.

The post-mortem examination was conducted this morning by government pathologist, Dr. Nehaul Singh.

Dr. Singh also conducted the post-mortem examination on the body of Baynes and listed his cause of death as asphyxiation due to hanging.

The young school teacher and Baynes shared a relationship for several years. She ended the relationship recently and moved back to her family’s home. It was at the family’s home that she was brutally attacked and stabbed to death on Sunday night.

Family members said she moved back home after ending an abusive relationship with the boyfriend.
