Corentyne pastor dies in fire

A Corentyne pastor and businessman this morning died  after he was caught in a fire which destroyed his entire house.

According to information gathered, the fire started just around 7.15 am at the Williamsburg, Corentyne residence.

Stabroek News was told that Herman Pereira was trapped in the house while his wife, son and daughters made it out.

His body was discovered after the fire was completely extinguished.
