Ferries for major rehab – Stabroek News
The Ministry of Public Works is inviting bids for the docking and rehabilitation of four ferries.
In an advertisement today, the ministry named the vessels as Kanawan, Makouria, Sabanto and Malali.
The engineer’s estimate for the work on the Makouria and Malali is $145.9m each. Work on the Sabanto is estimated at $82.3m and on the Kanawan it is projected at $66.3m.
Bidding will be according to the Procurement Act.
