Red Road miner charged with two counts of attempted murder
Orrel Stoll, a 31-year-old pork-knocker of Lot 55 Red Road, Providence, East Bank Demerara, was arrested at Triangle Backdam, Baramita, North West District, on December 13th, 2024 and charged today with two counts of attempted murder on Andrew Baird and Sylvia Baird.
The accused appeared at Port Kaituma Magistrate’s Court (sitting at Port Kaituma Police Station via Zoom), before Principal Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty, where the charges were read to him.
He was not required to plead, and was remanded to prison. The matter was adjourned to 5th February 2025 for statements.
