Adrianna Younge: No signs of sexual assault, marks consistent with water damage, PME finds – family’s lawyer – INews Guyana

The attorney for the family of 11-year-old Adrianna Younge has confirmed that the child died as a result of drowning, based on the autopsy conducted today.

The autopsy was conducted by international pathologists Dr Glenn A. Rudner, Dr Shubhakar Karra Paul and Dr Gary L. Collins.

No determination was made in relation to where the drowning took place, the attorney further related.

The attorney further noted that the marks that were seen on the child’s body are consistent with water damage.

The autopsy also found no signs that the child was sexually assaulted, the attorney said.

The pathologists were also unable to determine the child’s time of death, but the attorney said he cannot recall the explanation given.
