Tuschen man charged with murder of miner
Dexter Agrian, called Adrian, a 41-year-old excavator operator from Tuschen Housing Scheme, East Bank Essequibo, was arrested on 11th September 2025 by a rank from the Bartica Police Station and was charged today with murder.
The accused appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Teriq Mohammed, where the charge of murder was read to him. He was not required to plead and was remanded to prison until 30th October 2025 for continuation.
Agrian was charged with the murder of Mark Jeffers, called ‘Tattoo’, a 38-year-old gold miner of Lot 218 Blueberry Hill, Wismar, which occurred on Saturday 11th September 2025, at Big Mara Mara Backdam Middle Mazaruni River.
