Pooran fined for on-field outburst against umpire – INews Guyana

In light of his aggression toward umpire Ryan Banwarie in the first eliminator of the Caribbean Premier League on Tuesday evening at the Guyana National Stadium, Trinbago Knight Riders’ captain, Nicholas Pooran, has been fined 20 percent of his match fee.

CPL, in a release, stated that Pooran has been charged with a Level 1 offence under the CPL Code of Conduct. The offence was committed in the match-up between TKR and Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.

“Pooran has accepted the sanction, which amounts to a fine of 20% of his match fee,” CPL stated.
