President hosts dinner for Qatar medical mission

President Irfaan Ali hosted the visiting Qatar Red Crescent Medical Convoy at State House on Monday night.  The delegation was led by the Chargé d’Affaires of the State of Qatar to Guyana, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Rumaihi.

The team arrived in Guyana on October 7, 2025, and was scheduled to depart today.  During their visit, the medical team was expected to complete more than 50 surgeries across various specialties, including paediatrics, a release from the Office of the President said.
