BV primary school closed to address pigeon infestation – INews Guyana

The Ministry of Education (MoE) wishes to advise that the BV Quamina Primary School was closed today, Thursday 23rd October and will remain closed on Friday 24th October 2025. The (MoE) assures parents and students that measures will be implemented to recover the instructional time lost.

This temporary closure is to facilitate additional cleaning, ongoing rehabilitative works, and the implementation of a permanent solution to address the pigeon infestation.

The MoE reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that students and teachers are provided with a safe and supportive environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
