New Lodge: Man charged with murder of Paul Mackin Jr in Belfast
A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man two days after a serious assault in north Belfast.
Paul Mackin Jr, aged 44, was injured in the attack inside Eithne House in Duncairn Parade on Monday.
He died in hospital on Wednesday evening, police said.
The 41-year-old man charged with his murder has also been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and false imprisonment.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
