Farm fisherman found dead in Mahicony River

Police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old fisherman, whose lifeless body was pulled out of the Mahaicony River on Thursday afternoon.

Dead is Andrew Barnwell, of Farm, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara (ECD).

Barnwell was last seen alive around 19.00hrs on May 31 at Central Mahaicony River while he was drinking with a fellow fisherman of Berbice.
