Medical billing call centre launched at Enmore
-250 jobs to be created
A new business process outsourcing (BPO) centre was yesterday unveiled at Enmore by Senior Minister in the Office of the President with Responsibility for Finance and the Public Service Dr. Ashni Singh.
A release from the Ministry of Finance said that the BPO centre is being operated by VChart Services which has established its reputation in the field of Medical Billing/Revenue Cycle Management, becoming one of the key business partners with leading Healthcare providers across the United States. The release said that it has centres in India, the USA, and Guyana, where calling and voice functions, primarily, are handled. The release said that 250 jobs are to be created.
The launch came at a time when other BPOs have pulled out of the Guyana market or contracted.
