High-level meeting held on bolstering passenger experience at CJIA

A high-level team, led by Minister of Public Utilities and Aviation, Deodat Indar; Minister of Home Affairs, Oneidge Walrond; and National Security Director, Captain Gerald Gouveia joined officials of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) Corporation and the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority in a meeting today with airport stakeholders including ground handling agents, airline representatives, concessionaires and other operators.

A release from CJIA said that the discussions reaffirmed the government’s commitment to bolstering efficiency, safety and the overall passenger experience at CJIA with a focus on operational readiness and customer service excellence.

The ministers and other senior officials also toured the Timehri Fire Station to evaluate its operational readiness.
